Bukayo Saka has hailed the breakthrough performances of Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Vaneri at Arsenal this season. The pair have stepped up their
game during an injury-hit season and have earned plaudits from pundits and fans alike.
Asked about Lewis-Skelly’s displays in both Champions League quarter-finals against Real Madrid, Saka said: “Sometimes I look at him (Myles), he’s only 18, he’s playing in these games like he’s been playing for years. “Especially against Madrid in the two games,
he’s got that strength, he’s got that confidence coming up in midfield and getting on the ball. “
I’m so proud of him and looking at the steps he’s taking, I think it’s amazing how far he can go.”
Asked how far Lewis-Skelly could go, the England winger said: “I don’t know, to be honest. “
