Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has insisted he is ready to help the team no matter what position they are playing in.
Los Blancos beat Celta Vigo 2-1 in La Liga on Saturday, leaving them level on 24 points with Barcelona, having played one more game.
“It was a tough game, we played with patience as a team and got an important win,” the 39-year-old midfielder, who assisted Vinicius Junior’s winner, said after the game.
“The key is to run into the space. I told Vini, if you run, the ball will come to you because you have power. If you run in the right direction, it’s easy to find the ball.
“For me, I’m mentally and physically strong. That’s important. Like I’ve always said, I try to give my all when the opportunity comes, help the team win, that’s all.
