Former Sweden midfielder Freddie Ljungberg is hopeful that young striker Alexander Isak will make the move to a Premier League giant.

    The 25-year-old has emerged as one of the Premier League’s top strikers after a breakthrough season with Newcastle, netting 25 goals in all competitions last season – a tally only Erling Haaland and Cole Palmer have managed.

    While he has been linked with big clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea, Uncle Berg would love to see his youngster play for a big Premier League team.

    “I like Isak, his level of play is outstanding,” Ljungberg told Swedish outlet Expressen. “He has great qualities that I would look for as a coach. I want players with special energy. You can put them in special situations and know they can make the difference.”

    “His top quality is really good, I think he can get even better. He can reach the top level with his speed, his finishing and his understanding of the game.”

    “This is a player I want to give everything to ยูฟ่าเบท incredibly well. He’s so humble and friendly and he just looks like he wants to work hard and play football.”

    “I really hope he can make the next step, Newcastle is a good club but at some point I hope he goes to Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City where he can score a lot of goals, that’s what I hope.”
