Kevin De Bruyne has admitted he does not know if he will play in the Club World Cup with Manchester City as his contract expires during the tournament.

The Belgian midfielder will leave City at the end of the season, with the club deciding not to offer him a new deal as part of a rebuild.
However, De Bruyne’s current deal expires on June 30, with the Club World Cup in full swing,
and he is unsure whether he will be able to play in the tournament, depending on a number of factors, including his new club.
“I don’t know. For me, it depends on what happens in the future, on which team I play for and which competitions I play in,” he said.
“And whether the new team doesn’t want me to play, whether they don’t want to risk anything.”
